Tara graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a minor in Chemistry, where she worked in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries for six years. After welcoming her first child, she felt that a personal transformation would lead to a healthier life for both her and her child. By becoming the best version of herself, Tara could be a role model for her child by demonstrating a life well-lived.
By discovering whole and nutritious healthy foods, by being active and moving the body, and learning techniques to honor and nurture the spirit, Tara found her path: certification as a barre and yoga instructor.
Now with eight years of hands-on teaching experience, Tara enjoys studying the body’s movement patterns and translating her findings into optimal class content that demonstrates how to best “work” the body.
The catalyst that began Tara’s journey towards transformation over ten years ago- a simple motivation to help others- is a character trait that makes her a valuable asset at Boom Physique. What makes her so unique in this industry is her ability to translate her passion to those whom she teaches- igniting their own internal fires. Tara hopes those who experience her classes are indeed able to have a similar transformative experience where passion and study of the physical lead to self-discovery and personal growth…
